This is what designer Steve McGugan says about the ELBHARMONIE salt + pepper shakers: "Whenever I visit Hamburg, the gateway to the world, from Copenhagen, I am fascinated by the developments in the construction of the Elbphilharmonie. I find its design simply beautiful and very poetic. So I came up with the idea of designing a product as a tribute to this great building that also reminds us of it in everyday life. PHILIPPI responded enthusiastically to my ELBHARMONIE salt and pepper shakers. Viewed individually, the shakers look like a modern sculpture; placed together in their tray, they create a miniature excitingly similar to the Elbphilharmonie".
